First and foremost, I started my IT career in the early 90’s as a simple field helpdesk tech for DOCU.MAX Enterprises in Vancouver. Over the next 10 years, I did a bit of everything – I became a System Administrator, a System Architect, and an IT manager. When EveWire, the company I was working for, was purchased, I was offered a job to work in the states. Did I take the job? Nope, I decided to backpack around the world for two years instead! After traveling to over 40 countries, 250 cities, and writing two books on the subject, I decided to make my way back to IT; but I wanted to do it my own way.
Here’s the thing… traveling gave me a new perspective on the world and I didn’t want to be another cog in the wheel – I wanted to make a difference. That’s what inspired me to create a company based on integrity and honor – and make sure that the company could compete and succeed in today’s world.
